Ronda Burns Obituary

Ronda Darlene Burns, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on March 11, 2024, in Upper Kennetcook, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Born in Windsor, Nova Scotia, on March 25, 1970, Ronda touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, kindness, and infectious spirit.

Ronda is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Burns, her cherished children, Troy (Amanda) Taylor and Marcell (Tessa) Taylor, her devoted mother, Jean Taylor, her caring brother, Trevor (Michele) Taylor, her dear sister, Angie (Faron) Conley, and her father-in-law, Leroy Burns. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Tiny, and a multitude of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Predeceased by her father, Harry Taylor, and her mother-in-law, Sherill Burns, Ronda's passing has left a void in the lives of all who knew her. Her absence will be deeply felt by her family, friends, and the community she was a part of.

Ronda's impact extended beyond her family, as she was a dedicated employee at the Atlantic Superstore for over 10 years. She cherished her work family and found joy in her time there. Her warm smile and caring nature made her a beloved member of the community.

In her leisure time, Ronda found solace in the great outdoors, spending her summers camping at Whale Creek and enjoying the simple pleasures of fishing and family gatherings. Her beloved dog, Tiny, was a constant source of companionship and comfort, bringing joy to Ronda's life.

Ronda's vibrant spirit was evident in her love for dancing, her zest for life, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. She cherished the company of her many friends and lived each day to the fullest, embracing every moment with enthusiasm and positivity.

A private family burial and celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Ronda's memory. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Rowe at the Truro hospital, Dr. Morgan in Halifax, the Palliative Care team, and the VON for their compassionate care and support during Ronda's illness. A special thank you is also extended to Gloria White for her unwavering assistance during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Ronda's name, honoring her courageous battle and supporting others affected by this disease.

Ronda's passing has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her. Her laughter, kindness, and unwavering love will be remembered and cherished for years to come. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
