Catherine Mary Frances Mosher “Cathy”
Passed away very peacefully at home with her loved ones by her side. While listening to her favorite music.
She was the daughter of the late Charles and Pearl (Craig) Mosher. She is survived by her sister Colleen (Fred) Myra of Fall River, sister-in-law Greta (Earl) Mosher of Dartmouth. Many nieces, nephews and cousins who she loved dearly.
Cathy is predeceased by her sisters; Jane White and Rosemarie (Eddy) MacDonald. Brothers; Albert, Charles Jr, Thomas and Earle Mosher.
We would like to thank the V.O.N. nurses Jill and Susan for taking such good care of Cathy. Thank you Susan for staying with us on that last day. Thank you Jill for calling and all of the kindness and compassion for Cathy. Thank you to Marie Dillman for taking care of Cathy and all of us during the last four years, she loved you very much. Thank you Lynnette Huland for taking care of Cathy and all that you did, she loved you too. Thank you to all family for helping out with taking care of Cathy. I truly appreciate everything you all did.
A special thank you Dr. J. Fox for all his home visits and calls and to Jessica for everything you did.
Cathy worked at Anchor industries (Building Futures) in Sackville for 17 years and loved every hour she spent there. She also participated in the Special Olympics- bowling and loved the fishing derbies. If there was a special dance or celebration of any kind, she was ready a month in advance. Thank you to Derek McCormick whom she called her “hero”. She loved her taxi rides with you back and forth to work.
I hope I didn’t miss anyone because she really had a compassionate kind group of people that helped her so much along her journey. I could go on and on about her.
Cathy will be buried in St. John’s cemetery in Halifax with our parents. I am sure if we all look up at the night sky, she will be the brightest, twinkling stars in the heavens.
