Joan Blencowe Obituary

Joan Alice BLENCOWE, Age 93, of Windsor, Nova Scotia passed away peacefully on January 11, 2020 surrounded by people who loved her very much. Originally from Portsmouth, England she immigrated to Nova Scotia in her early 20's. She is survived by her son Anthony (Angela) Blencowe. Thank you to her good friends Collette Day, Joan Lucas and Doris Wournell for their visits and calls. Thank you to our family members in England; Frances, Joanne, Steven, Elaine, Emily, Luke & Amy, who kept mom in their thoughts and prayers. A special thank you to the staff of Dykeland Lodge for their amazing care and compassion during this time. As per her wishes there will not be a funeral service and cremation has already taken place.
