Obituary
The death of Alice Keefe occurred on
June 3rd 2020 in Hants county hospital Windsor Nova Scotia. She was born in 1931 in Woodstock New Brunswick daughter of the late Burton and Susan (Mitton) Johnson. Educated in Woodstock and Moncton Schools, she was
employed by the Canadian National Railways in 1950 and worked in various government agencys for 36 years during which time held several management positions both in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. She was appointed to the Pension Board upon retirement and later
moved to Bedford. A member of Bedford United Church and active on many committees in younger years including the Affirming Committee. She was a member of Aids coalation of Nova Scotia, CN Pensioners Assoc. SCANS and devoted to Grandmothers for Grandmothers
which supports the Stephen Lewis Foundation. Predeceased by her Brothers, Arthur and Edward and sister Peggy Taylor, her first husband, E. Douglas MacDonald in 1978 and second husband Walter E.Keefe in 1989. Her resting place will be in Fairhaven Memorial
Gardens in Moncton with her late husband, Doug MacDonald. No visiting or funeral by request. Donations may be made to the Stephen Lewis Foundation or Bedford United Church if desired.
