Amanda "Mandy" Lowthers Obituary

Lowthers, Amanda Sharon “Mandy”, age 41 of Newport Station, passed away peacefully on August 27th with her family and friends by her side. Mandy graduated in 1998 from Hants West Rural High School and went on to graduate from NSCC Kingstec with a diploma in cosmetology. She was most recently enrolled in the CCA program at Dykeland Lodge. Mandy was known for the love she had for her children, her big heart, and her sense of humour. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be forever loved and missed endlessly.

Mandy is survived by her children, Chloe and Caden, her parents, David and Patricia Lowthers, brother, Robin (Holly) Lowthers, nieces, Brianna Goucher and Kate Lowthers, nephew, Dylan Lowthers, and her best friend, Jennifer Elliott, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is predeceased by her brother, Shawn Lowthers, her grandparents, Harold “Buzz” and Marion Cochrane, and Murray and Eileen Lowthers.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday September 1, 2021 at 2pm at St. Croix cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses of 5.2 ICU for all their care and support. Because of Mandys love for animals, donations can be made to the SPCA.
