Anita Dawn Vyse

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter and sister Anita Vyse, age 44, on Thursday September 7, 2023. Born September 10, 1978 in Victoria, BC, she was a daughter of Mark Vyse and the late Karen Vyse. She is survived by her loving father Mark Vyse and her brother Jason. Aunts, Cathy (Joe) Bates, New Glasgow; Janet (Steve) Cormier, Little Harbour; Paula (Frank) Boudreau, New Glasgow; Uncles Paul (Chris) Vyse, Toronto; Gary (Kathy) Chisholm, Mill Cove; Neil (Janice) Chisholm, New Glasgow; many cousins; and Grandparants: Vera (Kilpatrick) Vyse, the late Howard Vyse, the late William James and Evelyn (Cunningham) Chisholm

Anita was a beautiful, outgoing, and caring woman, who touched the hearts of everyone she met. She took great joy spending time with her family and many friends (Christa Osmond, Kate Wright, Rob MacMullen, Michelle MacMillian, Jacqueline Murphy, Anthony Banks, and countless more).

Anita had an energy and a smile that lit up every room, and always kept a positive outlook through all of her trials with dignity and grace. She left a lasting impression on anyone that met her, and was adored by all. Her laughter was contagious and generosity unlimited. She was loyal like no other.

Heaven gained another angel and she is at peace now with her mother and her beloved pugs (fur babies) Lennon and McCartney. It’s guaranteed that they are watching over and protecting all of us as they always did. We will miss her dearly, and we say to her one last time “Love you more”. As per her request, there will be no service. Being so passionate about her family, she would prefer that you take the time to spend with your loved ones and let them know how much you love them.
