Barry James Hobson

Barry James Hobson – 69 of Upper Rawdon passed away on March 20, 202 at the Hants Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Gladys and Andrew Hobson.
Retired from the Canada Post Corporation, Barry is the second oldest of 10 siblings and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he has touched. No one wanted a good time to be shared more than Barry. A more loving son and brother, friend and then husband and father would be hard to find. We could say he loved bowling and darts and baseball, and cards, and that is surely true. More simply, he loved people and any reason to gather is as fine a reason we ought to say. He loved and is loved without compare. And a special recognition to lifelong best friend and eventual family member, Bob Miller, friends from their youth, and to the very end.
Barry is survived by his wife Pauline Dianne Hobson of Upper Rawdon, Daughter Kerry of Lower Sackville, sons, Christopher of Cold Lake AB and Raymond of Halifax. Sheila McLellan (Mac); Judy Miller (Lewis); June Hobson (Pierre); Valerie Fraser (Doug); Lorraine Swinamer (Everett), Kim Breschetti, Vicki McNulty (John). Brother Steve Hobson (Brenda) and Michael Hobson (April) as well as wo grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Barry is predeceased by his brother Wesley; niece Cathy Myatt; brothers-in-law; Vernon (Mac) McLellan; George Myatt and his friend/co-worker Kevin Hennigar.
Cremation has taken place; a Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
