Carl Edward Andrew Daurie

Daurie, Carl Edward Andrew age 73 of St. Croix passed away on September 11, 2023 in Halifax at the QE II V.G. Site. 

Carl was born in Halifax to Lester and Anita (Gage) Daurie on September 3, 1950. 

Carl is survived by his wife Sandra, their children; Tammy (Andrew), Gerald, Matthew (Jean); his former wife Flora Frampton and their children Carl Jr. And Wanda (Paul) Gallant. 

Sisters; Linda (Earl) Bennett, Gale (Ronnie) Drake, Joan (Tim) MacDonald, Barb (Darryl) Reilly, Sheila Horne and Rose Daurie. 

Brothers; Lester (Donna) Daurie, Alan (Ruby) Daurie.

Grandchildren; Nathanael, Jacob, Hannah and Benjamin Gallant, Garrett Blanchard, Emily Boyd, Devaney and Chandler Daurie.

Great granddaughter; Jayda and Sienna Gallant. Step grandchildren; Spenser and Thomas Bauchman, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Carl had a very special relationship with his in-laws; Susan (Andy), Myles, Brenda, Patti (Scott), Toby (Andrea) and Tony (Carla). 

Besides his parents, Carl is predeceased by his sisters Anita and Janet Ash and his brothers Bruce and David. 

The family would to share a special thank you to Jan Allen, my dear friend who has been a rock for us and a wonderful care giver to Carl during his hospital stay. We appreciate all you have done for Carl. 

Cremation has taken place under the care of East Coast Memorial, Graveside Service to be held at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Ellershouse, on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 2:00pm, with reception to follow at the Ellershouse Community Hall.
