CLANCY GORDON ANNESLEY
September 10, 1962 – November 23, 2021
The family of Clancy Gordon Annesley are saddened to announce his peaceful passing on November 23, 2021 at the age of 59. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Marion (Learmonth); his best friend, Tracey Sanford; his brother Irvine (Judith) and sister Linda. He will be missed by his son Richard (Amrita), daughter Sarah (Adam); grandsons Justin, Nathan, Tyler, Matthew and Onyx; Rylee, aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He will also be missed by his friends at Synergy Swine, Listowel, ON and Duey Farms, Windsor, NS. Clancy was predeceased by his youngest brother Timothy in 1995 and his dad in 2016. His fur dog Buddy was his constant companion riding around in the truck with him. Born in Sherbrooke, QC to the late Dufferin and Marion (Learmonth) Annesley. Clancy attended school in Lennoxville, QC and Macdonald College, Ste. Anne de Bellevue, QC where he obtained a diploma in Agriculture in 1981. He was an avid hockey player in his youth and a Montreal Canadiens fan and collector of HABS memorabilia. Clancy was a “Farmer” and raised and showed sheep at local fairs before working on dairy and swine farms across Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia. A Celebration of Life will take place in the Spring when he will be laid to rest beside his grandparents at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Maple Grove, QC. Donations can be made to Mental Health Estrie or the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the doctors at Hants Community Hospital; QE II Victoria General Hospital and the VON for their care to him over the past year.
