Corina Ann Falt-Billard

FALT-BILLARD, CORINA - 59 of Blind Bay passed away at home after a brief battle with cancer on Monday evening January 17, 2022. Corina was born and raised in Halfax. She is the daughter of Joyce Fox (deceased) and Earle Falt. Her passing will leave a huge void in all who knew her. 

Corina was employed for over 24 years with KPMG Management Services LP and was the Operations Manager for National Procurement Canada.
She was very diverse with her career and always liked new challenges. Even through her illness Corina made sure her team - Faith Soriano, Nancy Jones and Drew Smiley were okay and helped them as much as she could. 

We would like to express a special thank you to Corina's family doctor; Dr. Irene Mong for all of her care over the years. Thanks as well to Dr. Mark Walsh, Dr. Victoria Smith, Dr. Ravi Ramgeesingh and all the Paliative Care team and all the medical staff through Corina's journey, she is now out of pain and at peace. 

As per Corina's wishes, cremation has been entrusted to East Coast Memorial. 

Corina leaves behind her spouse Mark Billard of Blind Bay and her dad Earle of Windsor. There are too many special friends to name individually but your support has been overwhelming during this difficult time over the last eight months. The family would also like to thank KPMG for their wonderful support. 

There will be a Celebration of Life Service in Halifax, Toronto & Vancouver at a later date as Corina has many friends and colleagues across the country as covid restrictions decrease and allow for gatherings.
