David William Field

Field, David William, BSC - 59 of Dartmouth, NS. It is with great sadness that the family announce his passing on 09-04-22 at the Halifax Infirmary.

Dave was born in Trenton,Ontario 12-10-62. He is survived by his Mom, Lois Field(Daye) and his brother Terry Field and sister-in-law Donna Dewar Field. He is also survived by his daughter Jennifer of Port Elgin, Ontario and his son Christopher of London, Ontario as well as Granddaughter Kara and Grandson Hunter.

He was preceded by his Dad, William Francis Field

Also surviving is his step-dad George Foster and step brothers Lee(Joanne), Michael(Melissa), and Stephen(Cassandra) and aunts, uncles,

cousins and friends.

He received Bachelor of Science from Dalhousie.

David had a kind, compassionate personality.

He loved the outdoors, and while living in Baden, Germany as a teenager he skied the Alps in Germany, Austria and France. He scuba dived in the Philippians and walked the great wall of China. He absolutely loved travelling and left no stone unturned. He lived fourteen years in South Korea teaching English where he acquired his Masters in English.

However his greatest love was music and while in Korea he formed a band called the Etables. He told us he was a Rock Star in Korea which is what he always wanted to be. He loved the way of life in Korea but due to illness he had to return to Canada.

Dave will be greatly missed by all who had the good fortune to really know him.
