Hill, Donald “Bruce” – 69 of Falmouth passed away peacefully on January 23, 2022 at the Hants Community Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his loving family; wife of 42 years Faye (nee Coolen) of Falmouth, daughter Cheryl (Mickael) of Sackville, son Danny (Danielle) of Falmouth. Granddaughters Zoey and Clara. His brother Lester (Carole Ann) of Falmouth, sister Valarie (Marty) of Windsor as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Bruce worked for the Department of Agriculture and Marketing for over 30 years until an injury forced him off the job. Bruce loved the outdoors and was usually happiest cutting logs, going to his camp, hunting or any other activities in the woods as well as his many beloved fishing trips. Bruce is well known for his hand made walking sticks which many still enjoy.
He was often tinkering with a project in the garage. Bruce loved having his granddaughters close by and they could frequently be found there for a visit or a sleep over (with or without Grampies permission).
Bruce loved his dogs, who were his loyal companions “Toto, Sky, PC, Bear, Roscoe & Daisy, he also loved his kitty Amethyst.
Bruce loved his anniversary trips with Faye to Green Bay and Annapolis Royal each year. He became a member of the Falmouth Baptist Church (January 2012) and attended whenever he was able.

Bruce was predeceased by his parents Charlie and Vera (nee Church), his sister Ellen Patterson, aunt Lena and cousin Claude.

Arrangements have been entrusted to East Coast Memorial. No visitation or service at Bruce’s request.
