DR OMEED OWEN GHANDEHARI, 40, passed on November 12, 2023 surrounded by love. He cherished his role as father to his two sons Benjamin and Daniel. He will be missed greatly by his wife Pardis Onvani.

He is survived by his mother Tahereh Mojtabapour, father Nasser Ghandehari, sister Yasmin and brother Naveed. Omeed was a well known member of the Kentville community who dedicated his life to the wellbeing of others working as a clinical psychologist for the Nova Scotia Health Authority. The family would like to thank the community and friends for their heartfelt support.

A service will be held on Friday Nov 17 at St James Anglican Church in Kentville, NS between 6-8pm with a sharing of memories at 7pm. In honour of Omeed, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Valley Hospice.
