Elaine Olivette Strickland Reese

It is with the greatest of heart felt sorrow that the family of Elaine Strickland Reese announce her passing at the QEII Health Science Center in Halifax, Nova Scotia on March 17, 2023, at the age of 61.  

Elaine was the daughter of the late Leo Strickland and Barbara Strickland (Matthews) of Port aux Basques, Newfoundland. She was also predeceased by her husband Fred Reese and her soul mate Joseph Boudreau.  

Leaving behind to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughter Stephanie Strickland (Curtis Lucas), her granddaughter who was her complete world Ashlynn Strickland Lucas and her son Allan Boudreau along with a large circle of family and friends.

Elaine was such a kindhearted soul who was a friend to everyone she met and always welcomed them with open arms. She was always there to help anyone in any way she could. She loved to travel, “have a good yarn” as she would say, and lord knows her cup of Tetley tea. 

In keeping with Elaine’s Wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place Friday March 31, 2023, at the Brown Hall in Beaver Bank Nova Scotia. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elaine are preciously accepted by her family.
