Aunt Evelyn was my dad's (Gil) baby sister and they were very close growing up.
We did not see her often as we always lived in different parts of the province or country. But, I vividly remember her as a light-hearted, laughing and fun loving younger aunt. She always seemed very cool.
My siblings (Allan, Joanne, Jackie and Greg) and I (Marie) are saddened at the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother. We offer our love, thoughts and prayers at this time.

This picture was taken in our living room in Guelph around 1969/70. From left to right, my dad (Gil), uncle Bill, our grandmother Susan and aunt Evelyn. She was so beautiful. The family resemblance is so striking.

I have so many wonderful memories of Auntie Evelyn.
I REMEMBER many Christmas’s spent together. In particular I remember one when I was a child and we went to stay with Auntie Evelyn and I got to bring my new doll and hair dressing set to her place with me. I got to spend time there and play with my cousins.
I REMEMBER summer visits and holidays.
I REMEMBER after baby Amy was born and I got to walk around and fed her her first taste of chocolate and Auntie Evelyn never gave me a hard time because Amy was actually too young to have chocolate.
I REMEMBER Auntie Evelyn always was someone who gave me support through good times and bad times. She was always someone that I could turn to.
I REMEMBER the wonderful vacation we took driving and camping in Timmons and Tobermory and how we took the train to Moosonee.
I REMEMBER so many things never to be forgotten.
