Gena Mary Breen

It is extremely disheartening to announce the passing of Gena, mother, spouse, sister and friend. Gena will forever be missed by her spouse Jamie, son Jordan, brothers David and James, sister-in-law Sharon, Aunt Vange, nephew Leslie and his wife Connie, their children Rachel, Delany, Kiefer, sister-in-laws JoAnne and MaryLou, brother-in-law Chuck. Growing up in Dartmouth, Gena spent her summers at the Mic Mac Paddling Club. She loved her family camp on Meaghers Grant, spending time with her family and having camp-out weekends there with her many friends, hiking and fishing. Gena was never far from the water. Every opportunity she and her friends would pack-up a picnic, hibachi, charcoal and head to Lawrencetown Beach or Rainbow Haven for the day. Gena was a loving, loyal, gentle soul. She was part of the management team in her early days at the Dartmouth Inn where she owned and operated the gift shop for a time. She later worked many years with Golden Dog Productions. Gena's friends will never forget her humour and her stories. She was always up for any adventure, road trip, enjoying her many Vegas trips or relaxing on an island off Blue Rocks. Gena's amazingly fun and creative spirit has enriched all our lives. In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate to your favorite charity in Gena's name.
