Gwendolyn Lee Poole

Poole, Gwen Harnish – 65 of Stewacke.
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother on Wednesday August 11, 2021. She has fought a lengthy battle with cancer but ultimately lost her fight. Gwen is survived by her loving husband Scott Poole and two daughters Kim Webb (Jimmy) and Crystal Dawson.

Gwen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family more than anything. Her grandchildren, Bradley Coleman, Brett Dawson, Jamie Webb and Jessica Webb meant the world to her Gwen’s smile would light up a room when her great-grandchildren Alexander and Maddie Coleman and Luna Dawson were born.

Her one and only true love of her life was her husband, Scott. They very rarely were apart in the 48 years they were married and were always side by side.
Gwen’s favorite holiday was Christmas, oh how she loved poinsettias and the prettiness of Christmas and all the love and laughter of her family.

Her passion was yardsaling with her husband and never let a weekend pass without setting up. She loved the people, her friends, she called her customers. She never had a mean word to say about anyone or anything. Gwen fought this battle with strength and courage, a true hero. She loved life. She loved her family. Gwen’s family was as big as her heart. Seventeen sisters and brothers; Donnie (Lois), Audrey (Frank), Helen (Harry), Eddie (Toni), Barbara (John), Dougie (Pat), Betty (Joe), Marlene (Phillip), Shirley (Chris), Sheila (Daniel), Kathy (Jim), Karen (Robie), Johnni, Wayne, Daryl, Larry, and Cecil (Rose).

Donations can be made to Colchester regional Hospital palliative care. Special thanks to Sharon Willmot of Morrisville, Newfoundland and her family for always having a shoulder to lean on.
