Obituary

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Josée Angelucci, beloved angel of partner Dougie Ross, devoted step-mother of Melanie (Jonnie) Waugh and cherished sister of Marco (Rebecca) and Milko. Josée was born in Montréal, Québec, on September 6, 1964, and passed away peacefully in Windsor, Nova Scotia, on April 15, 2023.

Josée was predeceased by her parents, Lorraine (Gohier) and Roberto Angelucci. She was a loving and devoted partner, sister, step-mother, niece, aunt to Jordan and Hollee, cousin, and friend, and was a doting mom to her four-legged family member, Papi.

Josée was an animal lover and every creature tame or wild was safe around her.  Her collection of feeders were a popular gathering spot for local birds and she always had dogs as precious pets.  She loved cooking, trying new recipes and feeding friends and family.  She was happiest when outdoors, especially going for walks or out on her Ski-doo. Josée was an adventurer and enjoyed traveling.

Josée enjoyed many years working for Metals Economics Group during which time she made many life-long friends.  After leaving MEG, she got her dream job working for Air Canada, which allowed her to travel with Dougie.

Josée was a kind, generous, and loving person who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her love of animals, and her adventurous spirit.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the many health care professionals who treated Josée with respect, kindness, and skill:  Brenda Hewitt, NP; Dr. Daniel Rayson and nurses Mallory and Meghan; the nurses of 11th floor Dickson; Dr. Mandy Irwin and the nurses on VG 5A; Amber Phillips, Palliative Nurse; Dr. Tim Matheson, the ER doctors, and the nurses at Hants Community Hospital.
