Obituary
The family of Josephine Anne Day "Joanne" - is saddened to announce her passing on Thursday may 11th 2023 at Dartmouth General Hospital. Joanne was born May 6th 1946 in Oyster Pond Jeddore to George and Elizabeth (Broomhead) Day.
Joanne enjoyed her time with her family and friends especially when she was at the bingo hall. She was most proud of her two sons and her grandchildren who she talked about to everyone who would listen.
Joanne will be remembered by her Sons Charles Day and Clayton Flower, grandchildren Lia Macy Day and Simon Flower. Brother George Day, sister Martha (Reid) Monk, Lydia Panniers, Murial Huelin, and Margie (Gerald) Rogers, sister in law Susan Day. Niece Diane, nephews Daniel and Roy. Great nephew Daniel and Great nieces Ceiledh, Noelle, Genevieve, and Rosalee.
Joanne was predeceased by her parents, brother Richard, Philip, John and brother in law Reid Monk, Sister Helen McCormic
Joanne had requested to be remembered as she was; following her wishes there will be no service. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place on Saturday, May 20th 2023 at 1:00pm in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery friends and family welcome to attend.
