Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judyann Thelma (Kelley) Whitsitt, born on September 29, 1945 in Windsor, Nova Scotia. She passed away peacefully on April 3, 2023 in Windsor, Nova Scotia.
Judy was a loving wife to her husband Ernie of 57 years, a devoted mother to her son Ernie and daughter Sari (Kevin), and a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren Laura, Garrett (Andrew), Alyssa (Jonah), and Josh (Nicole). She was also a great-grandmother to Elloise and Lydia.
Judy was a dedicated and hardworking woman who graduated from Camp Hill as a CNA and worked in nursing for 32 years before retiring. The highlight of her career was meeting Queen Elizabeth II as she opened the Hants Community Hospital in 1976.
Judy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit, and her love for her family.
By Judy’s request, there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hants Community Hospital Foundation.
