Karen Marie Swineamer

Karen Swineamer, 59 of Windsor Forks, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on January 1, 2022 at the Halifax Infirmary.  

She leaves behind her partner, Chris Hebb (sons Ryan & Tyler), her daughter Sarah (Dustin Biggs), her much loved grandson Michael Biggs, sisters Sheri (Gary MacIntosh), Heather Foley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Karen was predeceased by her parents, Patricia and Harold Swineamer. She was a mother, life partner, wife, sister, daughter, aunt, cousin niece, and friend who touched everyone she came in contact with.  No matter the limitations her health placed on her, she was always there to support her family and friends.  She was a peacekeeper and known for always seeing the good in people, and loved everyone as they were, flaws and all.  Karen had a zest for life and if it also happened to include a bingo dauber, all the better.

Special thanks to her life long friend Darlene Cummins and Jocelyn Sanford for their support over the last few years as Karen’s health declined.  She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
