Lois Vallieres Obituary

It is with sadness that we announce the loss of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to all, Lois Vallieres.  She passed away peacefully on June 3, 2020 after suffering from a stroke.

Lois started her life on January 14, 1941, in Windsor, Nova Scotia.  She stayed in Nova Scotia with her parents, Elwin and Hazel Brown, her brothers Weldon and Wayne and her sister Shirley until the age of 18 when she married John Vallieres and moved to Ontario to start her new life.  Lois was caring, generous and humorous with a smile for everyone that touched her life.  She had recently moved to Nova Scotia for the last year of her life to live with her niece Lori Schofield and family.  Because of Covid her children could not be by her side in her last days so it is with eternal gratitude that Lori, Darren and their daughter Kristin were able to be by her side as she passed this life with their love and her children's loving thoughts and words.

She is survived by her children Derrick Vallieres (spouse Josephine Vallieres), Tanya Halley (spouse Gordon Halley), Kelly Livingston (spouse Robert Livingston) and Andrea Kelly (spouse Perry Kelly); her grandchildren Crystal, Vallerie, Cameron, Ryan, Tabatha, Shawn, Spencer, Brandon, Mitchel and Jessica; her great grandchildren Cierra, Kaleigh, Grace, Ethan, Lillianna, Kaeden, Sawyer, Victoria, Rachel and Rhiley.

The threads of love in the fabric of Lois' life were her family.  She will be a loss to all and in our memories forever.
