Margaret "Margie" Susan Theresa Fisher

Margaret Susan Theresa Fisher, age 68 of Brookfield, NS. passed on November 10, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. Born March 30, 1953 she was the daughter of the late Maxwell Hawes Prest and Marion Adeline Prest (Arsenault) of Cross Roads, NS.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Dale Fisher; sons Christopher (Danielle), Scott (Tanya) and daughter Suzanne (Matt) and much loved grandchildren, Brailynn, Maddelynn, Aislynn and Kane. Sisters Mary, Doreen (Daryl) and brother Walter (Naomi) special cousin Bob Prest (CJ) and mother-in-law Velma Fisher, she will be missed.

Margaret was a great lover of the ocean and any opportunity to spend a day at the beach, was a day well spent. She was a thrift bin shopper extraordinaire and a real bargain hunter. She loved her birthday celebrations with her girls; Sharon, Brenda, Kathy G and Kathy T. and she was grateful for their friendship. Her time spent with Heather at the campground were some of her favorite times. Trips to PEI visiting Christopher’s family were a highlight for her and she always looked for an excuse to go. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and they will miss her dearly.

She was predeceased by her parents, Max and Marion Prest and father-in-law Curtis Fisher.

Donations may be made in her memory to CEHHA Palliative Care or charity of your choice. Graveside service to be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm. at the Brookfield Westside Cemetery. Larry Harrison officiating. All COVID protocols to be followed
