Bellefontaine, Ralph Joseph-74 of Spryfield.
It is with great sorrow that the family announce the sudden passing of our brother and nephew, on April 13th 2021. Ralph was born on June 30th 1946 in Halifax to the late Joseph and Lillian (Slaunwhite) Bellefontaine.
Besides his parents, Ralph was predeased by his wife, Ivy Marriott in 1991 and his companion of many years, Judy Arsenault, his uncle Aubrey Slaunwhite and his aunt Edna Musolino.
Ralph is survived by his sister Nancy Rafuse of Dartmouth, brothers; Charles, Danny and Pat all of Alberta and Gary of Halifax. Also, his aunt Bertha (Arthur) Drake of Lake Charlotte.
Ralph worked as a carpenter and a bricklayer and in his later years he worked for RJF Healthcare as a Personal Care Assistant.
Ralph was a long time player in the Men's City dart league and in his younger years was a fastball player for the Kline Heights baseball team. He was also an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs. After his retirement, Ralph could often be found sitting in his favorite chair with his furry friend Mittens, watching the games with a refreshment and on many of those occasions, with his brother Gary as well.
