Born in O’Leary, PEI on 14 April 1938, he was the son of the late Truman and Vera (Sweet) Harris.
Ralph was an intelligent and very skilled Forman over multiple divisions of Georgetown Shipyard. He enjoyed watching Jeopardy and solving crossword puzzles during his off-time. A kind, funny and fun-loving man, he often helped others when his extensive skills or technical knowledge was required. He often answered question asked in an almost Encyclopedia-like format.
Ralph was a long standing, dedicated member of the Cardigan AA group. He loved his AA meetings and fellow members.
Ralph was predeceased by his parents, 4 sister, 2 brothers and his son Evan. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lorraine "Chippy", his children Allan and Tera, he is survived by a brother and a sister, his 3 step-children and their families, 6 grand children and his sweet great-grandchild.
A small family Celebration of lifeand interment will be held at a later date.
Ralph will be remembered and cherished in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
