Robert Kellough Obituary

Died peacefully after a long illness with PSP on September 28, 2023. His family Lee, Ray, and Jane were by his side.

Rob had a happy upbringing in Dartmouth, NS, in which he discovered a lifelong passion for sports. He made many friends through participation in canoeing (Banook Canoe Club), cycling, hockey (Thursday Night Hockey), yoga, golf, skiing, and camping.

Rob and Jane met in 1983. Sons Lee and Ray were born in Halifax in 1986 and 1987. In 1988, the family moved to Toronto where Rob transitioned from his work as a fisheries observer to working on a home renovations team. Rob retired from this work after the death of his parents.

Rob moved back to NS in 2017 and was diagnosed with PSP in 2019. Lee, Ray, and Jane worked together to support Rob as his health steadily declined.

Many dear friends supported Rob and his family during this time. The family wishes to thank them and the medical staff that Rob encountered throughout his illness. We appreciate all that you have done for us.

Cremation has taken place and by request, there will be no service at this time.
