Robert "Bob" John Harvie

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert John Harvie “Bob”, born September 14, 1956 in Windsor, Nova Scotia and passed away peacefully on October 13, 2023 in Windsor, Nova Scotia.
Bob was the beloved son of the late Mary and Gordon Harvie, and the loving brother of Linda, Gordie (Pat), Willie, Joanne, Kathleen (Denis) and the late Lawrence Harvie. He was the cherished father to Amanda and the loving grandfather to Kyle, Kadin, Mylee and Lucas.
Bob was a kind and gentle soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was an avid trout fisherman, and could often be found at the river, fishing rod in hand. He also enjoyed yard sales, and was always on the lookout for a good bargain. He was a fan of country music, and could often be heard singing along to his favorite tunes.
Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his infectious smile, and his generous spirit.
A celebration of life will be held at the Harvie Residence in Riverside on Sunday, October 22 at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
