Thomas Duggan Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Murray Duggan, born on October 4, 1965 in Halifax, NS.

He passed away peacefully on October 6, 2023 in Halifax, NS.

Thomas was predeceased by his father, Murray Duggan, mother, Violet Duggan, and brother Phillip Duggan.

He is survived by his wife Heather Timmons, sisters Irene (Laurie) Stewart and Donna (Ronnie) Brown, brothers, Peter Duggan and David Duggan, nieces and nephews, Ronnie (sons Connor and Caleb), Jamie (son Cody), Dillan, Tonya and Jake.

Tommy was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to his work.

He worked with his nephew Ronnie doing foundation work, started his own professional painting business, and worked with Greg Rhyno and Mike Mullins doing carpentry work.

For a short time, Tommy worked at The Rusty Anchor and The Bay Landing, where he made many friends.

Tommy spent a lot of time with the Timmons family, taking many trips to Pleasant Bay.

Tommy and Mom Timmons took turns cooking Christmas dinner.

Tommy was a great cook and Mom Timmons loved when it was his turn to cook.

In his younger years Tommy spent a lot of time with the Beazley family and enjoyed many card games, some golf and enjoyed hunting at Kenny's camp.

One year, Tommy managed to get a moose license and invited two of his best friends, Terry and Steve to go with him.

They were successful, but soon found out that Tommy didn't like moose meat!

Tommy loved boating with Lisa & Brent, Paul & Tina, and Mike and of course the fishing !

Tommy also  enjoyed camping with Mike and Crystal.
His favorite spot to be was his garage, where he spent a lot of time with close friends, especially his cousin Doug, friends, Jimmy, Grover, Chris and Tara.

He loved you all !

A Celebration of Life for Tommy will be held at the White's Lake Legion on November 4, 2023 from 1 pm - 4 pm.

Heather and the family would like to thank the ICU Doctors and Nurses and the VG for all the care and support through this difficult time.

Thomas was a kind gentle soul who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
