Victor "Bing" States Obituary
Victor "Bing" Bedford States of Windsor, Nova Scotia age 79 passed away peacefully at the QEII Halifax Infirmary on January 20, 2023.
Born in Windsor, Nova Scotia he was the son of the late Viola States, Windsor.
Bing worked as a labourer throughout his working career and was a proud member of the Labourers Union. Bing was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 009, Windsor NS for 26 years where he still volunteered a lot of his time. He enjoyed gardening, country music and was always a socializer. He was a friend to everyone and an extended member to many families and will be dearly missed by everyone that had the fortune to have him in their lives.
Bing Leaves behind
his loving common law spouse Margaret Gonsalves and her 3 sons Shawn Young,
Glenn Young and Jason Young, his son Shane Syliboy, step daughter Susan Kirton,
his brothers Phillip States, Dwight States, Elroy(Edith) States and his sister
Kathy(Glenn)Gray, 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and 2 friends
that were like brothers to him Kevin Harvey and Mike Demont. Bing was
predeceased by his mother Viola States, daughter Kelly Syliboy, commom law
spouse Kathy Babineau, grandson Alex Jones , Sisters- Lillian States, Joan
States, Meggie States(in Infancy)and brothers Lawson States, Marvin States,
Hilton Sates(in infancy) and his best friend Paul Swinamer.
A Celebration Of Life will be held at he Royal Canadian
Legion 35 Empire Lane, Windsor NS on February 4, 2023at 2:00pm
In Lieu of flowers donations made be made to the Royal
